HohoChiak 2nd Station @ Ipoh,Perak

If you are from Ipoh,
most probably you had heard about this famous Yong Tau Fu stall at Ipoh.
For those who are from other state,
we would like to introduce you the Ipoh most famous Yong Tau Fu stall at Pasir Pinji
 ( Dai Shu Geok ).

We were shocked by the amount of people surrounding the stall.
Those people were squeezing the crowd to get the food they want.

The fish paste is homemade, prepared using "Gau Yue" and fried on the spot.
Hence the ultra-crispiness of the stuffed fish paste pieces and the heat from the wok and the abundance of oil used in deep frying may not seem to be a feasible option on a health freak's diet list.
The stall underneath some mere canopies is attracting a large crowd,
especially on weekends and public holidays temping even the most wary of eaters from all over.
including tourists from other states and countries.

Each of those cost RM0.60.

Choose your noodle, then your style of serving them.

The "Zhau Liu" paired with the accompany garlic chilli sauce is heavenly as a snack
as well as a main meal.
The secret of their success?
The freshly fried pieces of indulgence as well as the quality of the fish paste used
without any hint of annoying fishy taste.

HoHoChiak!! ;DDD

The next station we are going at Ipoh is Lou Wong Restaurant.
Lou Wong is famous with Bean Sprouts Chicken.
We call it “Nga Choi Gai” in mandarin.
Lou Wong is the most famous restaurant which sell Bean Sprouts Chicken in Ipoh.

Jiang jiang~ Here are the food that we ordered!!
One set of steamed chicken,
one set  of bean sprouts and two bowls of Koay Teow.

It’s time to enjoy our food. ^^

The main meals of Lou Wong Restaurant.
It looks tasty right??
HAHA :)

The steamed chicken is smooth and easy to bite
and the chicken's skin is slippery smooth texture and tender. The soy sauce is one of the main factors that making it so delicious.
Price: RM19++ for half chicken

WOW~ look at the bean sprouts, it is “fatter” and “shorter” than usual because of  the water quality in Ipoh.
It is CRUNCHY and JUICY.
It seasoned with some pepper, light soya sauce and oil.
 Price: RM4 per plate

This Koay Teow can be served in soup or dry
(tossed with soy sauce and dark soy sauce).
See~ the Koay Teow is silky smooth.
It is tasty with the sweet, flavorful soup.
Price: RM3.80 per bowl

Take a photo before enjoying the food^^
Yiii~ What’s wrong with our Mr. Johnathan??
He show us this face cause we stopped him to eat and take a photo first!!
He can't stand for the delicious food already.

All the staff are busying to serve the food!!!

Tau Fu Fa is a very popular Chinese dessert. It tastes good no matter having hot or cold. Why would I mention Tau Fu Fa suddenly? Yes, you are absolutely right! After having the delicious bean sprouts chicken, now is time for dessert!! :D

We can find Tau Fu Fa easily in Ipoh, but when it comes to the best Tau Fu Fa in Ipoh, Ipoh residents will definitely recommend Funny Mountain Soya Bean.
Here we reach Funny Mountain Soya Bean! :D
This stall has been here since year 1952.
It has almost 60 years of history! Started back in the early 1950”s, the Tan brothers have been churning out two goodies Ipoh seems to be associated with- soybean milk and curd. The quality of their serving still remains unchanged since the early days.

Here is the Tau Fu Fa! =)
It is made from coagulated soya bean milk and served with sugar syrup.
Tau Fu Fa has tons of nutritional value due to its ingredient.
The Tau Fu Fa was so silky smooth!
It just slides down the throat and felt like almost swallowing air.
Tau Fu Fa in Ipoh claimed to be real tasty due to the Ipoh’s mountain water.

Boss of Funny Mountain Soy Bean =)

The only "Drive Through" soy bean stall in Malaysia! =)
You can walk to the stall and get your drinks after a short while or you can either stop your vehicle in front of the stall, signal a little and the workers will deliver your orders!
It so convenience right?
We can enjoy our tasty Tau Fu Fa in the comfort of our roaring engine =)

Funny Mountain Soy Bean is so famous! It had been published on a few newspapers before!
We are having our delicious Tau Fu Fa on the long chair prepare by the stall.
 Oh! It’s so yummy! =)

Mr Johnathan loves the soy bean milk so much!
He drinks 2 glass of soy bean milk that day!
Johnathan: It tastes so good! :D

It was crowded in the stall most of the time. People need to queue up to get their favourite Tau Fu Fa.
The business hour of this stall is from 10.30 am until all the Tau Fu Fa and soy bean sold out.
You better hurry if you wanted to have a try on it! =)
Finally we take a group photo with the boss before we leave.
The Tau Fu Fa only cost RM0.90 per bowl!!!
What are u still waiting for?
Drop by their stall to have a try on this delicious dessert! :D
